MyWorkDrive Server 6.1 or higher supports editing of Office files using the open source solution, ONLYOFFICE*. With this option, customers can run their own ONLYOFFICE Docs Server that provides the same functionality as Office Online at a reduced cost without the need for Office 365 licenses.

With Only Office, MyWorkDrive users have the ability create, edit, and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations stored on Windows File Shares directly from the browser.

• Fully compatible with OOXML formats.

Licensing

The MyWorkDrive integration utilizes the ONLYOFFICE Developer Edition, which supports 3rd party API integration. Begin by setting up an ONLYOFFICE Developer Edition Server. The customer will need to license the ONLYOFFICE Developer Edition (Free Trials Available) for production use with full support to integrate with MyWorkDrive. Customers may also utilize the Only Office Community Edition (20-user limit).

MyWorkDrive Setup

To integrate your MyWorkDrive server with Only Office online editing, simply point to your Only Office Server secure web URL. This will enable web-based office file editing and co-editing functionality.
